Campground Rules and Regulations We hope that our guests will enjoy the use of our fine facilities, keeping in mind the needs and interests of their fellow campers. In order to ensure the safety and utmost enjoyment of all our campers, we have placed the following rules into effect. ANYONE WHO DISREGARDS THESE RULES and REGULATIONS CAN AND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. General: 1. If you are camping or staying in our hostel or a paying guest, you are welcome to use the pool until closing. 2. Check out time is 10:00 a.m. for hostel and noon for the campground. Check in time is noon for both. Please be sure to pick up your site/room and leave it tidy for the next guest to arrive at noon or after on your checkout date. 3. Vehicles: Please exercise great care when driving on the resort property. The speed limit is 5 miles per hour. Remember young children are playing in the area and can appear very suddenly. Don’t let an accident spoil your beautiful vacation! 4. Bicycle riding is permitted only during daylight hours in the campground area. 5. The following may not be used at the Old Barn Resort: motorboats, firecrackers or any fireworks. Firearms must be cased at all times in the campground area. No ATV’s or off-road motorcycles allowed in the campground. Pets: 6. Pets are welcome if they are kept on a leash, cleaned up after and are quiet so as not to disturb other campers. They are not allowed in the pool or in any part of the buildings on the grounds including the Barn itself. Pets should accompany owners at all times and should not be left at campsites unattended. Pool: 7. There is no lifeguard provided at the pool at any time. Parents must supervise any child under the age of 18 at all times. We are not responsible for accidents. 8. When entering the Barn from the pool, all people must be towel dried and wearing shoes, shirts and appropriate cover clothing over swimsuits. Showers/Rest Rooms: 9. We have installed pay showers in the campground rest rooms to better serve you. We need to pay for utilities to heat the water, so please understand that we can not offer these for free. Keep in mind that other campers are waiting to shower, also. 10. All water taps, including showers, must be closed tightly after use. Fires: 11. Fires are permitted only in the fire rings provided at each camping site. You may purchase firewood in the Barn office during their open hours. 12. It will decrease odors and insects to keep the campground pleasant for everyone. Our waste collectors recycle the garbage at their plant so all garbage can go in the containers. Nighttime: 15. Quiettime begins at 10:00 p.m. Respect the fellow campers. They may have traveled a long way and want to sleep. 16. For your protection this park is patrolled by Old Barn personnel at various times throughout the day and night. If problems do arise, do not hesitate to contact the onsite manager ner the shed. Dangerous Weather: 17. In case of dangerous weather, Old Barn personnel or other officials will drive through campgrounds to notify campers of weather. It is the responsibility of the camper(s) to seek the shelter suggested by the personnel officials. Courtesy: 18.
