Campground Rules and Regulations
We hope that our guests will enjoy the use of our fine facilities, keeping in mind the needs and
interests of their fellow campers. In order to ensure the safety and utmost enjoyment of all our
campers, we have placed the following rules into effect.
ANYONE WHO DISREGARDS THESE RULES and REGULATIONS CAN AND WILL BE ASKED
TO LEAVE.
General:
1. If you are camping or staying in our hostel or a paying guest, you are welcome to use the pool until closing.
2. Check out time is 10:00 a.m. for hostel and noon for the campground. Check in time is noon for both. Please be
sure to pick up your site/room and leave it tidy for the next guest to
arrive at noon or after on your checkout date.
3. Vehicles: Please exercise great care when driving on the resort
property. The speed limit is 5 miles per hour. Remember young
children are playing in the area and can appear very suddenly. Don’t let
an accident spoil your beautiful vacation!
4. Bicycle riding is permitted only during daylight hours in the
campground area.
5. The following may not be used at the Old Barn Resort: motorboats,
firecrackers or any fireworks. Firearms must be cased at all times in
the campground area. No ATV’s or off-road motorcycles allowed in the
campground.
Pets:
6. Pets are welcome if they are kept on a leash, cleaned up after and are quiet so as not to disturb other campers.
They are not allowed in the pool or in any part of the buildings on the grounds including the Barn itself. Pets should
accompany owners at all times and should not be left at campsites unattended.
Pool:
7. There is no lifeguard provided at the pool at any time. Parents must supervise any child under the age of 18 at all
times. We are not responsible for accidents.
8. When entering the Barn from the pool, all people must be towel dried and wearing shoes, shirts and appropriate
cover clothing over swimsuits.
Showers/Rest Rooms:
9. We have installed pay showers in the campground rest rooms to better serve you. We need to pay for utilities to
heat the water, so please understand that we can not offer these for free. Keep in mind that other campers are
waiting to shower, also.
10. All water taps, including showers, must be closed tightly after use.
Fires:
11. Fires are permitted only in the fire rings provided at each camping site. You may purchase firewood in the Barn
office during their open hours.
12. Please use extreme caution when extinguishing cigarettes, cigars and matches, and dispose of any unused
portion properly. Pay special attention on biking trails.
13. Please be sure to have properly sized and insulated electrical cords if using electric hookups.
Garbage:
14. Place all paper and garbage in dumpsters provided. If you would, please wrap your garbage. It will decrease
odors and insects to keep the campground pleasant for everyone. Our waste collectors recycle the garbage at their
plant so all garbage can go in the containers.
Nighttime:
15. Quiettime begins at 10:00 p.m. Respect the fellow campers. They may have traveled a long way and want to
sleep.
16. For your protection this park is patrolled by Old Barn personnel at various times throughout the day and night. If
problems do arise, do not hesitate to contact the onsite manager ner the shed.
Dangerous Weather:
17. In case of dangerous weather, Old Barn personnel or other officials will drive through campgrounds to notify
campers of weather. It is the responsibility of the camper(s) to seek the shelter suggested by the personnel officials.
Courtesy:
18. Cutting green growth, peeling bark and driving nails into trees is not permitted under any circumstances. Please
respect the beauty of our surroundings.
19. Please use proper language that is appropriate for people of all ages. Everyone is here to relax and have a
good time.
