Old Barn Campground: Check-in starts at 3 PM, and check-out is at noon.
The Rooms: Check-in is after 3 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM.

Campsites and rooms can be reserved up to 365 days in advance. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Old Barn Resort operates seasonally. Availability varies by time of year—please check current dates when booking.

Standard Reservations
To receive a refund of your deposit (minus a $20 processing fee), cancellations must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled arrival.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.Holiday Reservations(Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and MEA Weekend)
For holiday stays, cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance to receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $20 processing fee.

You must be at least 21 to rent a campsite or a room.

Pricing is based on two people per site per night. There is a $5 fee for each additional adult per night and a $3 fee for each additional child per night.

To avoid billing and check-in issues, each campsite must be reserved under the name of the camper staying on that site, along with their email, phone number, and credit card on file.

RV Policy
One household is allowed per site.
Only one RV or camper-like unit is permitted per site.
One additional tent is allowed for minor children living in the same household as the reservation holder. Otherwise, an additional site must be reserved.
The maximum occupancy per site is eight people.
Tent Policy
One household is permitted per tent site.
There is a maximum of two tents allowed on tent sites.
Not all sites can accommodate two tents due to site size—please check when booking.
Groups needing more than two tents will need to reserve multiple sites.

Pets are welcome in the Campground but must always be supervised and kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Pet owners are expected to clean up after their pets, and pets should not pose a disturbance or danger to other campers.
Please note: Pets are not allowed inside the Barn, including the Restaurant and Rooms.
Failure to clean up will result in a $25 clean-up fee.

Yes, Old Barn Resort is a family-friendly campground with space to relax, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together. Quiet hours help ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.

ATVs and motorbikes are not permitted.
Rivers Bend golf carts are not allowed in the Old Barn Campground.
Personal golf carts are permitted; however, drivers must be 16.

Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. No loud music, excessive noise, or disorderly conduct will be tolerated and may result in removal from the Resort.

Fireworks, including sparklers, firecrackers, and any explosives, are prohibited.

Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings, weather and local conditions permitting.

To prevent the spread of unwanted pests and invasive species, it's important to follow these firewood guidelines. These measures help preserve our woodlands for future generations:
We sell certified, safe-to-move firewood bundles inside the barn.
Bringing firewood from home is not permitted. Additionally, pallet wood and any lumber that is painted, stained, or contains metal or foreign materials are prohibited.

Each campsite in the campground has a picnic table and a fire ring with a swinging grill top. Please do not move any of the tables or fire rings. Only charcoal or wood should be used in the fire grill.

Several restrooms are on the property, all of which include showers.
Showers cost $0.25 for every 7 minutes of use.
Quarters only.
Please add only one quarter per shower.

Wi-Fi is available only inside the Barn, on the patio, and in the pool area. There is no Wi-Fi service in the campsites themselves. Many guests find this a great way to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors—but if you need a signal, the Barn and patio/pool area are your best spots.

Failure to clean up will result in a $25 clean-up fee. This includes clearing trash, debris, or large logs and ensuring that you clean up after your pet.

For most RV-like sites, site boundaries are from electric pole to electric pole.

The maximum stay in the Campground is 9 nights total, including any split stays (even if you change sites during your visit).

Active and retired military personnel receive a 10% discount. A military ID is required.
Show your Good Sam Membership card to receive a 10% discount when checking in.

If an emergency requires immediate assistance from the police, fire department, or ambulance, call 911.
In the event of a weather emergency, you may take shelter in any of the bathroom units throughout the Resort or in the community area located in the basement of the barn.

Campers are responsible for securing their personal property, including, but not limited to, their campers and contents, vehicles, tents, and any other personal items.
The campground, along with its owners, agents, and employees, is not responsible or liable for any theft or loss of property. This includes damage caused by acts of God, fires, floods, windstorms, explosions, lightning strikes, accidents, or vandalism.
Campers are also responsible for maintaining insurance on their campers, vehicles, and personal property.

Everything at Old Barn Resort is located on the same 200-acre property.
The Old Barn Restaurant is located inside the historic 140-year-old barn, which also serves as the campground check-in location and on-site store. The barn sits near the top of the hill, with the campground flowing down the hillside on one side and the Rivers Bend Golf Course extending across the rest of the property. The Root River State Bike Trail runs directly through the resort.
Guests can easily move between camping, dining, golf, and the bike trail without leaving the property.

Yes. Old Barn Resort offers easy access to the Root River for tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.
A DNR public river launch is located at one end of the property, and as the river flows past the resort, guests can exit the river using stairs on the backside of the campground, making it convenient for float trips. River access varies by water conditions and season.
